This book was sent to me by the very kind author to review. Once I got used to the American dialect, I loved this book. It was a very good story, that could so easily have been true. It was well thought out with very good, solid characters. The idea of Tinkey killing his best mate's abuser was brilliant, and then to 'rig' the court case so drastically was a great inclusion. This book had a few surprise twists in the tale and I was encaptured all the way through.

This book was amazing. I loved every word of it. The family in it were great characters, each one being very respectful and adoring each other. The setting was ideal and the story was interesting. This author knows how to captivate a reader. I was truly gutted when the book finished. Cant wait for the second in the series.

I won this book in Goodreads First reads giveaway. I don't read a lot of young adult fiction but enjoyed this book for a change. I loved the concept of twins growing apart when they went to college. I enjoyed the descriptions of how Cath described her inner feelings and emotions. I also loved the way that the author described her fathers bi-polar disorder. Very well written and an enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this book. Stephen King has a great way of writing that keeps you hooked! My favourite character in this book was Arnie. It is so easy to want something so much in life, that you lose your way and all common sense.
